Please fill out New Patient Intake Forms Found online: This will ensure your acupuncturist has the most complete picture about your health. Many of the questions may seem like they do not pertain to your current condition. The Acupuncturist uses those answers to get a picture in Traditional Chinese Medicine how your entire system is coordinating.
Hydration is Key: Drink plenty of water before and after your session to support the body's natural healing processes.
Eat Lightly: Consume a light meal 1–2 hours prior to your appointment to avoid discomfort during treatment.
Dress Comfortably: Opt for loose-fitting clothes to facilitate easy access to acupuncture points.
Avoid Stimulants: Refrain from consuming caffeine or alcohol before your session to maximize relaxation.
Communicate Openly: Share any concerns or questions with your acupuncturist to ensure a comfortable experience.
You will be given a call button: If you need anything or start to experience anything unpleasant or painful please push the button once. NOTE: If you start to experience a sharp pain at the needle site - it may be that the needle is about to fall out. The closer the needle gets to the surface of the skin, there may be a sharp pain noticed that was not there before. Please use the call button so the acupuncturist can either take it out or reposition it.
